Privacy Policy

Who we are

FantaLens ("we", "us") is an independent, unofficial fantasy football analytics tool available at fantalens.com, covering the Premier League and Liga Portugal. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either competition or by the official fantasy games they run.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. For any privacy question you can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

Account data: when you create an account we store your name, email address, a nickname and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text, and it cannot be read back by anyone, ourselves included.

What you create on the site: the squads you build, the players and clubs you favourite, and preferences such as your timezone. This is the only content we hold about you.

How we use your data

To create and secure your account, provide the projections and tools you ask for, and remember your preferences and favourites.

To send you transactional emails such as email verification and password resets.

To understand how the site is used and improve it.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We process account data to perform our contract with you. We rely on our legitimate interests to keep the service secure and to understand how it is used.

Service providers we share data with

Loops (transactional email delivery), Google Analytics (usage measurement), and our hosting provider Laravel Cloud (infrastructure).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and may be located outside the EU/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account exists, and no longer. You can delete your account yourself at any time from your profile settings, and doing so erases your account and everything you created with it immediately. You can also ask us to erase it through our contact page.

The only exception is where the law requires us to keep a limited record for a set period. Where that applies we keep the minimum required and nothing else.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, reach us through our contact page and we will respond within the time required by law.

If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

FantaLens is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, reach us through our contact page and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
